Does Payment for Stripe work with the T600?

Yes. Payment for Stripe runs directly on the T600, the same way it runs on the S700 and S710. No phone or tablet needed.

How is the T600 different from the S700?

The T600 is a countertop reader with an 8-inch landscape screen. It has no battery and runs on USB-C power. The S700 has a 5.5-inch screen and a battery, so it can move around the room. The S710 adds cellular.

Can I use my existing Stripe account?

Usually not. Running the app on the reader itself needs a Stripe account with platform controls enabled, which in practice means an account we create for you in the setup wizard. It's separate from any Stripe account you already have, with its own balance and payouts.

Does the T600 support Stripe's standalone mode?

No. Stripe's standalone mode runs on the S700, S710, and Verifone V660p. On the T600, run Payment for Stripe on the reader instead.

How much does the T600 cost?

$329 in the US, plus $39 for the optional Stripe Reader Hub if you want Ethernet. It's C$469 in Canada, £249 in the UK, €289 in Ireland and France, A$469 in Australia, and NZ$569 in New Zealand. You buy it from your Stripe Dashboard.
