Can I use my existing Stripe account?
It depends. If your existing Stripe account is not connected to another platform, and you created the account within the Payment app, then yes. Otherwise, you may need to create a new Stripe account that has platform controls enabled for the Payment Connect Platform to install the app onto the S700. Email us, we can help you figure this out.
Where is the S700 supported?
The S700 can be used in any Stripe country that supports Stripe Terminal readers.
Do I need to know how to code to install the app?
No, installation happens automatically after registering your card reader to your account. From there, you will just need to log in to your Stripe account.
Are the card readers PCI compliant and pre-certified?
Card readers are certified EMV Level 1, 2, 3. They provide end-to-end encryption, natively support chip cards and contactless payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, and help protect you against liability for counterfeit fraud.
Can I setup more than one card reader for my account?
Absolutely! There is nothing preventing the installation on the app on as many S700 card readers as you like. The same process applies: register the reader in your Stripe Dashboard and let the installation happen automatically.
