Open the app and tap "Connect with Stripe"
When you first open Payment for Stripe, you'll see a welcome screen with a green "Connect with Stripe" button. Tap it to begin the secure connection process.

Sign in to your Stripe account
You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure login page. Enter your Stripe email and password. Don't have a Stripe account yet? You can create one for free during this process.

Authorize Payment for Stripe
Review the permissions and tap "Connect" to authorize the app. Your sensitive financial data stays securely at Stripe.

Start accepting payments
That's it! The app will automatically sync your Stripe products, customers, and settings. Start charging customers immediately using Tap to Pay, a card reader, or manual card entry.

Is it safe to connect my Stripe account?
Yes, completely safe. We use Stripe's official OAuth protocol, the same security standard used by thousands of apps. Your password is never shared with us, and you can revoke access at any time from your Stripe Dashboard.
What permissions does Payment for Stripe need?
We request permissions to create charges, access your product catalog, manage customers, and create invoices. We don't have access to your bank account details or the ability to transfer funds out of your Stripe account.
What if I don't have a Stripe account yet?
No problem! When you tap "Connect with Stripe," you'll have the option to create a new Stripe account. Stripe account creation is free and typically takes just a few minutes.
How do I disconnect the app from my Stripe account?
You can disconnect from within the app by going to Settings > Account > Disconnect. Alternatively, log into your Stripe Dashboard, go to Settings > Installed Apps, find Payment for Stripe, and click Remove Access.
